Terms & Conditions
Last updated 22 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Upshift, a software service provided by Monoform (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Upshift is a cloud-based invoicing and workshop-management application for automotive service centres. It provides tools for quotes, invoices, statements, customer and vehicle records, parts and stock, and related features. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be authorised to act on behalf of the business you register.
3. Subscription & billing
The service is offered on a subscription basis at R799 per month. New accounts begin with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start the trial, but no charge is made until the trial ends.
After the trial, your subscription renews automatically each month and your card is charged the then-current fee until you cancel. We will notify you before your first charge. Fees are billed in ZAR.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. Please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how cancellations and refunds are handled.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you enter into Upshift, including your customer, invoice and vehicle records. You grant us permission to process that data solely to provide and improve the service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and process any personal information about your own customers that you upload to the service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to send fraudulent or misleading invoices, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data, or to disrupt the operation of the service.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and access may occasionally be affected by factors outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Monoform (Pty) Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Monoform (Pty) Ltd is a company registered in South Africa (registration number 2025/557348/07).
